Marking incredible growth, the family celebrates the birth of their third child, Maria Andrea, while BELT moves to a new warehouse equipped with model rooms and a foundry. Concurrently, the “Entrepinos” luxury residential project becomes a massive success, featuring over 120 custom items co-designed and manufactured by Louis.
The Birth of BELT
Returning to Colombia, the couple merges their architectural passion with art to officially found the BELT Colombia. Their very first creation, the “Planofacil” vertical plan chest, revolutionizes blueprint storage.
Foundations and Innovation
A year of foundational milestones sees the birth of their first daughter, Valentina, and the establishment of BELT’s first manufacturing plant for production autonomy. The company also wins an Innovation award at the ExpoDesign Fair for their “Planofacil” product.
The Beginning
Louis and Luz Angela’s journey begins in Paris, studying architecture and fine arts with their parents’ support and an Icetex loan, eventually marrying to forge a lifelong partnership of love and shared creation.
