A TRUE CLASSIC GEM IN THE HEART OF PALM BEACH
Some projects push the boundaries of craftsmanship, demanding skill, problem-solving, and precision. This was one of those challenges, a project rooted in classic architectural design, where every element had to balance elegance with structural integrity.
The focal points were two key architectural pieces: a sculptural bronze stair railing and a grand entrance door. Both were entirely handmade using traditional bronze forging techniques, assembled with precision through pinning, notching, and mechanical fastening—avoiding visible welds to maintain a clean, seamless look. The finishes played a crucial role in the design. The stair railing combined dark and ultra-light bronze tones to create depth and contrast, while the entrance door featured a soft, medium-light patina that gave it a refined yet inviting presence.
At the core of the project were two centerpiece architectural elements: a sculptural stair railing and a monumental entrance door, both crafted entirely from bronze. These elements were not merely decorative—they were engineered to become integral parts of the space, merging artistic intent with enduring functionality.
The stair railing, in particular, presented a dynamic interplay of form and materiality. Forged using traditional techniques, it showcased a seamless fusion of dark and ultra-light bronze patinas.
The entrance door, equally ambitious, featured a medium-light patina that emphasized the subtle texture of the metal, imbuing the threshold with a warm, inviting gravitas.
OUR
TIMELESS
ARTISTRY
This project is a testament to the power of craftsmanship and problem solving.
It proves that, with the right team and the right approach, even the most complex challenges can yield exceptional results.
Turning challenges into art
One of the biggest technical challenges was ensuring that all joints remained invisible while maintaining the structural strength of the pieces. Since the project was made entirely of bronze, every connection had to be carefully engineered and executed by hand to achieve a flawless result.
Beyond the workshop, the process had its complications. External contractors caused delays, forcing the team to adjust and find solutions to keep
the project moving forward. Despite these setbacks,
the entire job—from concept to final installation—was
completed in just three months. This was only
possible thanks to the dedication of designers,
developers, craftsmen, and installers, all working
together to deliver a result that met the highest
standards.
